Constructed of toned bronze, the obverse bearing a raised NFSK insignia, topped by a date of 1939, situated above a dedication of GRUPPE 2 UND 3, and circumscribed by inscriptions of ITH SEGELFLUG WETTBEWERB (GLIDING COMPETITION) and NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHES FLIEGERKORPS (NATIONAL SOCIALIST FLYERS CORPS), unmarked, measuring 7 cm (w) x 8 cm (h), accompanied by its original award document, named to OBERMEITSTER MEYERHOFF,
