Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1929 Commemorative Service Badge, by Der Stahlhof Newly Listed impressed by Birmingham hallmark denoting(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1929). Instituted 13 November 1933 by Franz Seldte. (1933 1939 issue). Constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled medallion, overlaid by a raised Stahlhelm insignia, situated above a silvered date of 1929 topped by oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular plate, engraved with a unit
